You will need a Welsh Water Licence to fish for all game species in additional to your local permits or permission to fish.

Game Fishing - Rivers
Afon Erch
Managed by Pwllheli Angling Association, some stocking occurs, abundance of wild brown trout and good runs of seatrout and salmon later on in the year. Permits from D E Hughes Fishing Tackle, Pwllheli.

There are numerous other small rivers around the area, Aberdaron, Abersoch, Rhyd Hir in Pwllheli, all teeming with wild brown trout. You will need to approach the landowner, normally the nearest farm, to ask for permission.

Sea Fishing
