Sailing and Water Activities

The Lleyn Peninsula is one of the major sailing venues in the UK, be it for leisure or serious competition. Located at the top of Cardigan Bay, off the North West tip of Wales, it boasts some of the best sailing waters and conditions in Europe.

Pwllheli and Abersoch are popular venues for National, European and International Class Championships. A number of isora offshore races are hosted annually, as well as numerous regattas.

Pwllheli has a well renowned marina. Porthmadog now boast a new development of berthing pontoons enabling visiting sailors to moor up.
